Maintaining Positive mind frame through Self-Motivation

Maintaining Positive mind frame through Self-Motivation

You are the result of what you continually think about yourself. One of the most effective factors of achieving your goal to grow taller is your own powerful mind which should be loaded with self-motivation. Without that, all the effective steps and tips mentioned here would be worthless to get that mental toughness and persist on it because it is your mind that rules your body. Igniting your mind yourself, with a reason to accomplish a particular goal, by efficiently and consistently working on it irrespective of what the obstacles you are facing is called Self-Motivation. If you don't stay motivated, you will start lacking wholehearted interest and regressively stop following the program thereby sabotaging your goal completely within a few days.

Wherever you are always think tall at the back of your mind. Constantly walk with the body upright. Think of yourself as being 4 inches tall, 5 inches tall, 6 inches tall. Think of your body in terms of stretching upwards, walk with a forced dynamism (pretty soon this will become natural), keep your chest and chin high without over-exaggerating the effect. Hold your tummy in and swing the arms naturally at the sides.

Jog your memory of doing the work out regimen on a regular basis irrespective of any circumstances. It is no good exercising and stretching your legs and back if you cancel it all out when you stand still or sit down. When you are sitting, reading, standing in line or at a street corner waiting for someone or as you may often think just doing 'nothing' don't slacken. Pull yourself up with a jerk. At your work place you certainly have to spend long periods sitting down. This may be unavoidable but you should nevertheless sit correctly. Do not crouch over your work. Always sit as upright as you can. When you have to stand don't allow your shoulder to sag or your abdomen to 'hang out'. Stand erect but relaxed. One of the best way to stay motivated is by measuring your height during the program at periodic intervals and noting it down in a personal height increase chart for maintaining a track of the progress. This will slowly but surely show you the transformation that will take place on how you are inching you goal.

Without getting over-involved with the complicated 'set-up' of the spine or backbone it should be remembered that is composed of a number of pieces of bone (vertebrae) joined by connective tissue. Consequently this part of the body must be regularly subjected to an 'extensive stretch' at odd times. Walking tall, sitting tall indeed thinking tall all serve this stretching process. Bear in mind that unless that part of the body is kept at full stretch it has a tendency to contract and if the process is allowed to go unchecked for a long period of time it may be impossible to totally recover all the lost ground and you will remain however slightly permanently 'shrunk' or shortened. If you find yourself 'slouching' or unconsciously allowing your shoulders to droop with a bowed back then pull yourself up with a jerk, straighten that back. Remind yourself mentally as well as physically that you are going to think tall all the time. Pretty soon it will be second nature to you to keep your body fully extended. Soon you will discover that it will be perfectly natural for you to walk, stand and sit in an upright posture. Think tall at all times and the world will have to stand on its toes to look YOU right in the eye!
